A proud history

We are a Proudly South African company that has grown from a family business (founded in 1981 by Michael Metz) to a leading national manufacturer with cross-border reach.

Originally founded as Metz Bedding, the company subsequently procured the license to manufacture beds under the international Restonic brand, supporting dreams since 1938. We have a nationwide presence with strategically located plants throughout South Africa and are able to deliver our products throughout South Africa’s nine provinces, ensuring supply stability.

We continue to expand beyond South Africa’s borders into Namibia, Botswana, and other African countries.
